1st off I am not knocking the power ring, it stiffened up the rear completely. Though I did have some issues arrise. Now I get a whine which in 1st gear on normal take offs (worse going up hill with more load) and part of 2nd (only going up hill when 1st engaged and goes away as I let off the gas) if you can understand the description. I can't tell if it's coming from the rear diff or the tranny. I'm guessing diff since everything was silent before I installed it. Started doing it on the test drive. I am still getting a clunk in the rear so I'm thinking the diff is worn. I checked the fluid in the rear and it is full.
