lol, a 30v 2.8 does not go 0-60 in 8.8 seconds... thats stock 1.8t times and we destroy 1.8's when there stock.

now if the gsx is COMPLETELY stock, you guys should tie... a stock gsx runs about a 15.1, and with a good driver in the 2.8 you can pull a stock 15.1-15.3.... the gsx would be a drivers race if he was completely stock.

the 350z would have had to burn his tires for 5 seconds for you to beat him up to 70, but when he passed you im sure he passed you pretty dam quickly and never looked back...

and the civic hatch, all it would need is a b16 swap which is cheap and really easy to do.

and ya 4500 is a good launch point, and the tranny doesnt "lag" when you launch over that, the clutch just burns up, our clutches are strong enough to grip for that kind of launch... a gsx/wrx can rev drop from 6k all day long and run consistent 1.7 60' times stock, thats what makes them so dangerous.

Are you sure they were racing. I've seen boosted civic si's struggle to beat a 350z. Oh... and dumping the clutch isn't a proper way to launch, but i guess with awd your not spinnin rubbers. I wouldn't knowme = fwd

 

yeah, i don't know who was driving this Z or "muscle cars" but you're not beating a 350 Z with exhaust and an intake unless the person driving it is a retard. NOT BUYING IT.

The 350z who ******* knows honestly I just think his tires were bad and he was spinning too much and either way I look it as a loss because to 75 still doesn't get me 1/4 mile... I'm an honest person; I joined the marines to help out with the war and now i'm going to college to become a cop... If you're juding my integrity I have the completely different mindset of most 20 year olds you meet... And that would really bother me... I will take videos this weekend and post them on youtube for you... I'll even post videos of the launch lag that i'm talking about and yes I smell clutch above 4500... My buddies eclipse is a gst from what I was told about 10 minutes ago on the phone and that makes sense...And I just returned after being gone for over 8 months for other reasons so that's why I did not know the exact critiques of the car... It was a car that he bought recently and I thought only gsx's had the big wing on the back of those body eclipses... My mistake and i'm sorry...

there's a crapload of cars that can beat you. and i dont believe you could beat a 350Z or GSX either. and the cobalt ss you raced might not have been supercharged. not all of them are. you should get a supercharger, or maybe NOS. THEN you'd be pretty quick
