Can I jumpstart my AUDI without any problems to the electrical system ??I have never heard of this happenig before but I dont want to hurt my baby !</P>

There should not be any issue jump starting you car, no more than any other car. Positive battery to positive battery. You can put the first negative end of thecable to battery but it's always a good idea to make the final negative connection to a good engine, metal ground to keep any spark potential away from the battery (gases emitted from the battery are flammable).</P>


This is all assuming the vehicle you are getting power from is in good condition and does not have an "overcharging" situation where you would end up applying an over voltage to the Audi system. This is where problems would occur.</P>


While running, 13 to 14.5 volts is good, 15 to 16 volts is high, over 16 volts and you are probably asking for trouble. </P>
