D-DAY – This Sunday – LOCK & LOAD!
June 4th is almost upon us and I can feel the excitement! D-Day is promising to be a very big event.
What is D-Day: (In-short) D-Day is designed to bring together the European car community for an afternoon of excitement.
Originally I thought it would be fun to get together European car lovers to crash Superfly, but now I realize that it’s more than that. D-Day is going to be a huge photoshoot, a bad *** cruise, and a very memorable day. While searching the net I have came across several discussion forums talking about D-Day. We have people coming from PA, we have people coming from Toledo, C-bus, Akron, Cleveland, Canton and all over the Ohio. (Read this next line very carefully!) This Sunday is going to be one of those days you want to relive, or one of those days you regret missing.
Here’s the final rundown:
• 5:00pm - We meet at the UOFA Parking deck for a BIG photo shoot. (Directions Below)
• 5:30pm - Photo shoot begins
• 7:00pm - We begin formation for a short cruise to Main Street where we will line up on the right side of the road for regroup.
• 7:15pm – All hell brakes loose as we begin invasion of Uncle Ben’s army of rice.
D-Day Rules:
- D-Day is for European cars only, however all makes and models are welcome to Superfly.
- Although D-day is not a Dub-Society event it was primarily generated through the DS website. Your behavior can directly effect the representation of our community so please behave.
- Their will be a Photoshoot, if your car is not clean you may be asked to move away from the photo sections.
- The caravan will not wait if you’re late.
- When entering Superfly we want to consume the most visible show space possible. Please park next to the car in front of you forming a single line before moving into a second row, or forming an additional row. Remember we want to show a very strong presence of European vehicles, plus this will allow a good opportunity for a photo-op.
- Lastly: Superfly Sunday has it’s own set of rules, topping the list, no-burnouts, and no-alcohol. Finding a lot for this show is extremely hard, please respect the rules of Superfly.
Directions:
Coming from 77N/76W - get off at the Grant/Wolf Ledges Exit and turn right at the first light (Grant Street) - will run you right into the Exchange Street Deck.
Coming from 77S/76E - get off at Grant/Wolf Ledges and turn left onto Wolf Ledges. Take Wolf Ledges straight until it turns into Carroll Street (will pass under Exchange Street. Exchange Street Deck will be on the right hand side just passed Buckeye Street.
