As the title says, I have an 02 A4 and both my keys don't work. The immobilizer light is on and needless to say "start", "stall". I have the two original keys but neither are reading correctly. I would like to try and adapt the keys to the ECU again.

My only other option is to have the car towed into the Audi dealer... $95 just to look at it... I can only imagine what they'll "find" once they begin diagnosis!

try to open the doors with your key (not the fob) and try starting it.
one of my fobs didn't work when i bought the car but it started working once i registered it into the starter.

not sure if that'll solve your problem but just an idea.
