Quite honestly bidding on ebay is a legally binding contract. I sell stuff there and make that known. If I have any high $$$ items I state that its a legal contract and I can sue if there's non-payment, or payment less than the bid price. They can sue you if you don't pay. Unless the car isn't as described I'd pay them. It looks like a good car.

dont get me wrong guys, I have 100% intention of buying this car. I could just use any little discounts I can get as I'll be broke unless I have a little gas money left over after the trip.

any tips on things to look for that might be wrong while test driving? The seller's reputation is rock solid and he has gauranteed me that there are no mechanical issues at all but still I'd like to know some common problems a4 owners are known to run into after 10 years.

oh and i know i should probably just search for this but what are some of the differences between the 12v I bought and the 30v 2.8?

 

About 18 valves and there aren't any mods for the 12v.

 

didnt take me long to learn those two things.. anyone know like how many carlengths a 30v awd quattro would put on the 12v fwd?
