Under stock boost the turbo has a nice wistle to it. Throttle response seems a bit better to. Id say a good mod for just about an hour of work, and free. I did not modify the resonator that attaches to the MAF though.

Did you goto see what the disclaimer is about the lower boost? Just Curious.

 

Chip is on my list, I still cant make up my mind as to which one. I found I now have APR, Revo and Neuspeed within driving distance. I just have to make up my mind as to which.

As far as the disclamer, from what I read it was for cutting the horn that attaches to the maf. Or did I miss something? That was why I didnt cut it. Either way I can put the box back to its original way, I dont think I will though, I kind of like it. I was going to try leaving the horn out for a while to see what happend but decided to leave it like it is. Im happy with the results. I am in the process of installing a boost gauge so I can see what my stock boost is at, I will probably try the mod both ways to see if there is a difference.
