Default just did timing belt.. now cel on

So i just got finished redoing my timing belt and all the accessory stuff around it yesterday. I put everything back together and no my cel light is on. i diagnostic tested it and it stated that my secondary air injection is malfunctioning. Anyone have any similar problems along with this. Maybe the smog pump or something. The car runs absolutely fine now except for the cel. annoying little light

Best first bet is to go through and double-check all the hoses. Doing a major service like a t-belt leaves a lot of room for oversight errors like forgetting to hook up a hose, or hooking up two of them wrong and reversed. Start at the SAP and trace out all the lines to be sure they are routed to the correct locations.

ya check everything and post the code you got. alot of the time, if you get a code for a malfunctioning SAP you need a new pump. it's that black thing on the passenger side in the front and a tube coming out of it going to the airbox

I vote hoses also. Check the small lines back of the head for hardened ends. They may have cracked when removed and you can't see it under the fabric covering.
