Just a friendly reminder (CEL-misfire)
I had an auto parts store check my car after the CEL came on. Codes for random misfiring in the cylinders came up as well as notification that the car was running lean. Started with a $7 dollar bottle of injection cleaner into the gas tank and viola, no more CEL. Will continue to check all other inspection points but just goes to show how simple these problems can be(or not be). Thanks to everybody else's posts, I have saved myself money I really don't have right now.
Thanks Jason,
After the fuel injector cleaner, would I move to changing out spark plugs and Ignition coils? Would this be the next logical step or is there something else I should inspect? Any tips would be appreciated.
