from what i have been reading here... seems a Giac chip is a great first mod...
will i need to do anything else to my audi when i add the chip? or do all the stock parts work well with it????
what other really cheap mods can i add torque/speed?

Congrats on the new car, thanks for searching about the chip, and yes you will need a new diverter valve (DV) when you get chipped. Search for types/brands.

 

Intake is a good DIY if you are trying to save some money, then go for a nice exhaust, with some bigger pipes... The more oxygen you feed your engine, the better it will run. Good for some cheap HP gains, and good sound. That chip is what you will want to do first. I would have, but I don't want to have to mail my ECU out anywhere... Thanks for taking the time to search about the chip.
