ok so just got a 98 2.8qm.

i rolled down the windows with the key on teh drivers door. just heard a crakling (plastic breaking like) on the right front window and it just fell down.

still hear the motor working

Anyone have tihs issue know what broke?

i'm gonna try getting some time this week to open up the panel. but wanna know if there's a specific problem piece i can just buy and install it when i take it off, don't wanna keep opening the panel.

 

mine does that too its like a click/crack sound it comes from my right back window, it works fine but dunno why does it do that

 

lol 2 of my windows did the exact same thing and another one sounds like its gonna do it. audi quoted me 300 for each window. an independant mechanic quoted me 100 for all four. ha. i fuvking hate audi.
