Its really a matter of preferrence, i never go over 3-4k on my car because i think the oil consumption rate is too high to stretch it out 10 thousand miles IMO. Plus i don't like having old oil in my turbos.

Also, you car is still under warranty........so your maintenace is still free........they won't be too happy if you keep coming back every 3k miles for a free oil change.........in fact they won't do it for free.......you have to be closer to the 10k mile mark in between (little bit of grace aloud in there).....at least thats what I was told from a tech.
Even though your car and my car have much bigger filters than previous models I still wouldn't go over 6 man..that's really just pushin' it. Especially w/the turbo and all..it's just like $50 every few months. I just dish it out so I don't end up having to pay for it in the end..u know.
