hey guys long time no talk ... got back from h20 with some fk fully ajustable coilovers and will install them at the end of next week but was curious my friend was telling me that i should look into strut mounts. He said i would prob want to replace them. Do you guys know anything about thes or where to get them ... or have any one changed them? Thanks guys and i cant wait till next week when i put these on.

Strut mounts go inbetween the top of the strut and under the shock tower . You can get them pretty much anywhere. Try some of the audi links. Im sure getcoolparts has them. Usually about $30-$40 per mount. There is a bearng in the mount that turns or flex's when the wheels turn with the stress that is put on the shocks/struts. If the bearing goes bad the stress during turns will be transfered to the coil spring and it can twist/flex the spring and youll hear thumping/ grinding when you turn or go over bumps.
