I just got my K04 turbo upgrade kit in the mail today from AWE-Tuning.com ! They are great in customer service and shipping!!! YAY! I also got the PC16 Upgrade the injecter and giac chip, i hope it all goes on nicely.. im going to start now, and get some video's tonight must get a dazzle tho so i can upload it onto the pc.. anyways. Im excited woo woo!! I hope the wifey lets me use the garage, her damn ws6 is a garage ***** .... stupid amerikan cars anyway ill get back with updates and hopefully pics if i can find the nikon.. we used it last night and uhmm it disappeard think it might be under the bed or something

I want to kill my k03 lol, like make it pay for being such a low booster I have this dying urge to throw a boost controller on it and see how much PSI it can handle .. you know.. for ummm..... reserach

 

oh yea i forgot to add, the pc16 stuff is for a 99.5 and i know i have a 2001 will it be useable? i hate to have to send it back

 

dont do that mbc trick because you might blow more then your turbo. could kill the motor. please dont do it

ya because a 99.5 is drive by cable and 01 is drive by wire so you have to send it back and get soemthing for your year

i think you would blow the engine before the turbo if you turned up the boost. that would be a dumb move

lolz, well i finished about 5 hours into it, i broke so many bolts tryin to get that K03 header off, wife got mad blah blah... wasnt that bad .. just lack of space i guess u could say.. the neuspeed's 5 bar FPR was a beyootch to get on.. So after about 2 more hours fixing all the leaks, noises it was time to test drive it.. i babied it for atleast a hour ( it was so hard ) i stopped checked it all out and made sure nothing was broken/hanging/loose.. decided to open her up.. OMG what a big difference. the wife was in the car with me and awd launching was fun, her perse and cell phone went in the backseat haha.. got a bunch of filming done last night now im waiting to go to get my dazzle to upload it to the pc

is it normal for the turbo/manifold to glow red?
