yes its normal to glow red. thats why you need to let the car cool down before you turn it off or get a turbo timer. because the oil will sit on that red hot turbo and cook itself. that will cause problems down the road

 

i always let it sit for 5min after i ride her hard..the car that is lol.. before i turn it off .. jeff.. its on the list.. on the list .

 

its not necessary to have a turbo timer but it helps because sometimes im late and im driving fast so the car is hot and i dotn have time to let it cool. so i leave the tt on and it will do the work for me.
