Just got my first Audi *pics*
Hey guys,
I am new to the Audi world but not to cars in general. I just picked up an 04, 1.8t, 5-speed with really low miles. I am originally a jeep/4x4 guy and do alot of custom work if any of the local guys need work done on their 4x4. I amdefinatley going to geteither some stock 5-spoke 17's or the RS4 18's.I just had a couple of questions about modding the new ride for cosmetic purposes only (I'm not a very fast driver).
-I'm looking to get a mild body kit to look a little more agressive. Are the ones on eBay worth getting? Should I just paint the lower valence that came stock? I just want something that is sleek, not ricey. I also am looking for a spoiler but I'm pretty sure I will get one of the ABS plastic ones off of eBay, just the lip spoiler, nothing too crazy.
-I really want to integrate my ipod through the stock stereo system. Are there RCA outputs on the rear of the stock HU? I've tried the cassette player and FM transmitter methods and they both sound like junk.
Here are a few pics of my toys and the new audi. Thanks for any insight on making this a nice looking ride.

Hahah you get that white jeep to really show-off the mud?
Great collection.
-Upgrade rims
-No no no on the body kit, if you're looking for a new look, get an USP kit. (Ultrasport FYI) Google it
-If you don't do a kit, paint your 'lowers'. It'll look sexy as hell all white.

That Jeep is BAD A$$!!!
And +1 on the no body kit; best bet for a B6 A4 (2002-2005) like yours is to get Ultrasport bumpers and paint the lowers. Lip spoiler will be groovy, too. As for wheels, on a B6 you can definitely go with19".
Welcome to Audi!

Damn...wicked Jeep, nice toys.
As for Ipod, you can check out http://www.peripheralelectronics.com/. That's what I use, plug in the adapter on the back of the HU and attach the Ipold on the other end of the cable. It utilizes the cd changer control, and the sound is great. With mine, I just leave the Ipod in the glove box, it turns on when I hit the cd changer button and it charges when not in used. Here's another brand http://www.diceelectronics.com/ipod_integration.htm
