How does the clutch pedal feel? When you try to put it into gear does it grind or juust not want to go into gear? When you removed the tranny did you take the linkage off the shifter or the tranny?

Money says it's a linkage problem, I did something similar in my Saab

2nd Gear
That's what I was thinking.
yes i did remove the linkage... im pretty sure its the clutch in that it wont go all the way to the floor.. like it normally does... any possibility that i put it back together wrong? maybe i tightend the pressure plate too tight?... how would i fix the linkage if it is the problem? thanks
and when i try to put it in to gear it the car starts to nudge forward... if its 1-5 and it i try to put it in reverse it starts to move in reverse... but it doesnt grind... it just wont go into gear... its like the clutch is ingauged all the time...
RE: just installed a new clutch and wont go into gear
clutch plate alignment mate, what tool did you use to set the clutch up ( you cant just throw it in there and expect it to operate you know ) it has to be lined up with the gearbox input shaft
