hey guys i just purchased my intake from lltek and im wondering if u notice a difference and if the sound is noticeable...and is a heat sheild a nessessity??i dont know if i spelled that right hehe

 

You will get a little bit more low end torque and it will make your engine have a nice deep sound to it.

intake gains are minimal if any.The sound is themain difference, it will growl. Throtle response will be better, but it may infact take away from low end torque and add one or two hp in higher rpms's. No heat shield is necessary with the 2.8 engine.

 

I ordred my LLtek intake over a week ago, when I ordered it he said there backed up 3 weeks. But I got my custom heatshield coming this week, it's gonna be such a sweet setup and I do expect gains, more sound, and sexiness. I'm going the opposite way of most... Exhaust, then intake + heathshield, then a stage 2 Revo chip (last).... Already debadged, tint... painting lowers with next check, grill, european licsence plate. And I'm set! got a fairly fast ride with style and sound, and by that time I'll only have mabye 48k miles on it, I'm living the dream

 

I want a high flow cat, or test pipe.. But I'll do that when I move back to Arizona! foo sho!

 

ya man im doing intake then exhaust lol...i have tint painted lowers debadged the first day i got her...i have all the exterior and interior mods done all i need to do now is the engine mods...i might even turbo my 2.8q if i have the denaros to do lol...im not spanish so maybe i screwed that up lol hehe

How exactly would you do that?
You could have a supercharger for the amount of money it would take to fabricate an effective and reliablecustom turbo setup on the 2.8
You are aware that no one sells turbos/turbo kits for the 2.8 right?

Electric turbos on ebay are where its at anyway, just buy one of those. 100% the best thing to have on an Audi. Very safe, push 20 PSI and give you 100hp, no doubt.

oh there is people who have done it look on the turbo section he is selling it for 1800 or soo i dont member the exact price but people have done it search for it and u will find...i thought only noobs do that lol hahah jk guys
