oh there is people who have done it look on the turbo section he is selling it for 1800 or soo i dont member the exact price but people have done it search for it and u will find...i thought only noobs do that lol hahah jk guys
Most people with 2.8's are let down when they realize all the time, money, andwork involved in putting a turbo on their engine. I am well aware of some of the half assed kits out there that people get fed up with trying to make work and then try to get rid of it in the classifieds. Let us know if you ever get a turbo on that engine... I doubt it will happen, but ill try to have a little faith in it.

intake gains are minimal if any.The sound is themain difference, it will growl. Throtle response will be better, but it may infact take away from low end torque and add one or two hp in higher rpms's. No heat shield is necessary with the 2.8 engine.
I know its not NECESSARY, but the temps under the hood still get up there. I dont really think a short (non-CIA) intake will give performance gains on any car without a heat shield.

Obviously us 2.8ers dont have to worry about the hot turbo, but I'd still suggest putting in a heat shield. There is a DIY on here that will cost you like $30...

Sure it wont hurt, but i highly doubt youll actually feel a difference between having or not having a heat shield on a 2.8. Im not saying there wont be a decrease in intake temps with a shield, im saying youre not going to feel the difference. NA cars dont have to worry about heat soak slowing them down, thats where the difference is noticed when nothaving a a heat shield with a cone intake on a 1.8t.
