Great filter, better than putting a CAI on and much less money, just be sure when you clean it not to over oil it or you can **** up your maf other than that there great

Is it even necessary to oil them? Will they just get brittle over time and deteriorate? Is that what the oil is meant for?? I think id skip the oil and just replace it when needed.. ive actually been considering getting one, i am just reluctant because i doubt ill feel an improvement.. Convince me otherwise!

The oil id the part that catches the particles, thats what seperated a K&N from a normal paper, the cloth filters need to be oiled

So how do you know how much oil is too much/too little?

the filter needs to be red but not drip. If it drips its over oiled. Some just buy a new one after 50k miles

after you oil it .. let it sit for a while (couple hours) until all the excess is dried up
