A larger maf housing results in leaner fuel a/f ratio so.. I don't see your point in what I don't know what I'm doing. Based on the larger maf housing we'll make the software to work just fine so..(In case we can't make it with the stock one)I've done it before and it worked great.

 

a K04 will never be able to flow enough air to utilize 440cc injectors and slapping on a bigger MAF is not going to fix your idle problem and will only make things worse unless somebody makes you a completly custom software program to run your car on or you use a standalone

 

Combining the 440ccinjectors with VR6 MAF should work so.. And it is a custom software.. nothing pre-made

 

first off what year is your car and secondly there is no way in hell 440cc injectors and a VR6 MAF slapped on a K04 will run right. you will run sooo rich its not even funny

 

I have a custom tuned K04 file @ 24psi and run rich with 315cc injectors and your putting on 440cc....

 

reading from your list of things you should just go BT....a K04 is not going to run right with 440cc, VR6 MAF, and a 3' straight exhaust. The K04 is pretty much the same turbo as a K03 and what you have is complete overkill

The whole point with custom software is that it's made on a dyno based on the upgrades. I did not say I was going to just slap on some 440cc injectors or/and a larger maf and just smile. I'm running the k04 now on the stock injectors and custom software and it's working fine but I want more boost so also more fuel.

 

only does this because its allowing more air in. it still wont help the fact that the car is trying to dump to much fuel.

 

try S4 maf, a vr6/225 maf isnt going to help much. ALso a k04 on a 02 is pointless and a total waste of money since they are the same turbo. Borg Warner only has the k04 rated 5hp more over the new ko3 in your car.

Good luck and dont be surprised when your car doesnt idle, runs pig *** rich, and makes less power than it does now.
