I actually really am going K04 now! I just ordered a rebuilt K04 from GPopShop today and then the hardware kit for it as well!!!! It should be here by next friday!!! I am so excited!!! See I told you I would eventually do it! HAHA jk. (SOme of you who have been around long enough know what I am talking about)

As for chipping it goes, I am getting a deposit back from my previous apartment and I will use that money to get the GIAC K04 chip. I am not going PC-16 because I don't have the money for all the other supporting mods and don't want to hurt my tranny at all.

So my project for next weekend will be installing it! I can't wait!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!

MY parts are here! They keep coming and it's like Christmas in September!!! Here is a pic of the turbo. Once all my other parts get here I will take a picture of everything:

For turbo and hardware it was $708 with shipping. Not to bad!

I thought they were less than that from gpopshop? You can get a brand new k04 for close to that.

I was able to do it myself, and now that it's tuned.... way stronger, gobs more torque. Just gotta figure out how to even out the boost via mbc and i'll be all set. Let me know if you have any questions, and good luck! I hope it goes smoothly for ya.
