K04/PC-16 Another Problem/Question

I think all the files are aggressive if you go with GIAC. But they pc-16 is for the pre 2000 cars so Elite your out of luck. They used to have the J31 and Hammer files at one point, when i was looking at which ever one was for the 2000 (i think J31) it was discontinued. I could be wrong but then again when they got my ecu they said it was special and there only way to give me the ko4 file was to give me 3 files, cost me 200 more but at that point i had no choice.

Im just saying, ko4 is good power, but you will wish you had gone bigger after for sure. I just get tired of tryingto drive in traffic and im in boost right away, its just no fun, i want my boost at 2500 rpms plus, so if i need to go i can go with a downshift. Its just an opinion, doesnt mean that the ko4 setup is solid and what not.

The AEB cars are DBC and everything after that is DBW.

You have a 01, did you not see my thread? The ko4 to the ko3"s" is only rated 5hp difference. So its a lateral move, not upgrade.

WOO HOO!!!! I finally have a running car again! Just finished fixing the coolant flange leak and now my car runs well! No overheating problems and no more leaks (that I can see anyways.) Now I just have to wait 4 more days until I can get it chipped! I have my MBC turned way down (spiking at 10psi holding at 5) for right now because I don't want to run lean or anything. So happy! Woo Hoo!!!

One quick question for you all...

I am taking my car down tomorrow to get it tuned. I have to drive a good 1 1/2 hours to get there and was wondering if I should install my new spark plugs (NGK BKR7E) before i leave or once I get down there. THe reason I am asking is because I will be installing my injectors and AFPR and will be running really rich most likely until I get down there. Will this mess them up? Also I am assuming I want to set my FPR to 4 bar for the trip down? Thanks.

You can do the spark plugs and fpr before if you want if you setthe fprto 4-4.5bar. Or you can leave it stock

Ok, cool. How long does it normally take to install injectors and the FPR? Just wondering so I know what time I need to get up tomorrow. It doesn't look that hard.

1-3hours depending if you run into problems and your mech abilitites
