I have a test pipe and GIAC w/380cc injectors on a 2004 A4 FWD. That is supposed to be about 230-235hp and 265-270ft/lbs torque. Will I be able to get much more with a K04 turbo? Is it worth it?

 

no. upgrading from a k03s to a k04 is pointless

2001+ models aren't going to feel much of a difference. save up for a bt or do some supporting mods for the k03s

 

Go ko4. Then regret it. Then wish you had spent that money on a Big Turbo. I feel like me and Chaos can help set a learning curve here.

HAHA, i agree, i remember how everyone suggested the ko4 upgrade like crazy back in the day. Now we all hate it! Could have saved ourselves so much trouble.

did it come out before or after the k03s?

 

They put them in the b5 rs4, so i presume it was before the ko3s.

yes if u have b5 s4 put k04s on it!

apparently its not much HP difference, and it will hold power slightly longer but not much..... for the $1000 for k04 and new flash but it towards a FMIC/BT setup

i was in the same boat as u, ive read and read... dont waste it!
