Default Key cutting - West detroit

Same old story as everyone else
I am planning to get new switch blade and remote for my A4, 2002 1.8T. Dealer is asking 70$ just for the blade and 130$ for programming (I have no idea what made him think I am asking him to programm), and 120$ for remote....ha ha ha.

Instead I am getting one from ebay with blank blade. Does any one know good place to get key laser cut in the Detroit suburbs - west?

Thanks in advance guys and have fun

They gave you a price for programming because they are the only ones that can program the new key.

130 should be for programming the key and the remote. Programming the key should only be half that.

They are the only one's who can programm?
I thought I can buy key online, cut it and programm it by meslf? Does it mean I have to spend 200+ bucks just for new key?
