i have a 96 2.8Q a4. when i bought the car from a friend it didnt come with a keyless entry remote. how can i find out if the car is equiped with keyless entry? was this even an option for the 96's? its definately something I wouldnt mind having.

Yes it does have keyless entry. The remote isn't the "switchblade" stylye. It looks like this...

sweet thanks, we'll see how that auction goes.. now the real question is how do i program that bad boy? im sure the dealership is gonna charge an arm and a leg for that. anyone know how to program early model keyless remotes, especially considering its the only one i would have. I have seen write ups on how to do it for the 99+ models with the radio frequency remotes, but i dont think that will apply to this.
