I have just bought a 2009 A4. It came with two remote control keys, but what Audi call the "spare" key was missing. The salesman says this is of minor importance as it cannot be used to start the car. But according to the handbook it can be inserted into an adaptor and then used to start the car. Anybody know who's correct please?

 

I eventually convinced the salesman that he was wrong and I was right. Awaiting new key.
