ok i get a knocking comming from the frount of the car when ever i am fully stopped and i start to move. as i give gas and release the clutch i hear a coupple knocks come from the frount of the car and then it doesent do it again while im driving or stopping at all. it only does it when i startmoving from a complete stop and im not shure what it is. can you guys help me out

 

Does it throw a check engine light or anything. could be like the coil packs and spark plugs.

tell me if there is any other things that goes wrong or you hear different.

 

no itsnoting engine related the knocking is comming from the body its self....could it be engine mounts or something liek that ? it deffineatlyis not engine related at all. and there is no check engine anything. and no codes.

The pilot/thowout bearing in the tranny might be bad. It only happend to me when i was engaging the clutch from a stop to start moving in my old rx7. The car also shook a little while doing that.

 

no shaking but same thing it only does it from stopped...is it expensiveto fix

 

anytime they have to take your tranny appart for something is expensive.. Not that what i described is your problem.. but if it is, then it would be expensive. can you feel any pulsing in your clutch pedal when it happens?? it happend for me only from a stop too when i was letting off on the clutch to go.

If it's kind of like a dripping noise I have the same problem. Been like that ever since I bought the car (3.5mo ago). Took it to the stealership and mechanic couldn't hear it. Said its probably nothing. But for me it doesn't happen always. But do you always hear it?

 

not really is more of a one and a while thing and it happends mroe one iv been driving for a while
