Yeah, I did beat a WRX. Same guy a couple times. I think he was stock except for the exhaust, and I'm chipped with a KO4, lightened fly wheel and ceramic/kevlar clutch and exhaust. I'm also not all together sure the kid drove the car to it's full potential. As far as the times, I have not run it on a track or with any sort of accurate timing device, so I have no idea what it'll run. I'd love to run it a few times just to see, but I haven't had the chance.

 

Doose, with the k04 your suppose to be running around 230hp, well after that, how much does the chip add?

 

Supposedly between 40 and 50.

 

So wouldnt that put you at 270 to 280hp with just the chipped ko4?

Just dyno the damn car and call it the day if your really worried about HP. You will know what HP your at right now and it will only go up from there if you do more mods.

yea thats for sure trying to find a 4 wheel dyno isn't easy

 

Realistically I think that the chip and the K04 probably has me at around 240. I don't know, I could be really off on that though. The TAP people are very vague when you try and get specific numbers out of them and depending on who you ask about the K04 it can add anywherre from 40 to 140 hp. All over the board. The 40-50 hp the chip gives you doesn't exactly just add on to the hp increase the turbo gives you. I've found a dyno here in Indy, but it's only a two wheel. I suppose I should take it to the track and see what it does.

 

I wonder if you can somehow disconnect the front differential
