New member so be gentle...

I have a A4 1.9 TDI 110 SE and its as flat as a knacker.
At best it will do between 90 and 95 mph on a slight decline and is generally poor at accelaration.

I have had the car checked out on the local Audi dealership computer and they assure me
there is nothing wrong with the car.

Does any body have any idea's

Also where can I get a central locking pump for the above.

Well then... the computer was drunk! Or at least the computer operator was!


I'm not well educated on TDI engines, but I'd have a compression/vacuum check done.

 

Also check your intake for oil. They can clog up. Just saw one today in the shop that had that problem along with a bad EGR vavle so the turbo was not boosting.

 

Yea you can get a compression tester at your local O'Riely's for $20, i just bought one. Check out your spark plugs too. Diesel engines tend to get sluggish with time but not that sluggish, when did you do your last tune up?

 

Diesels do not have spark plugs. They use compression to ignite the mixture.
