Default Lame Stripe

My A4 has a stripe down each side of its body. My A4 is Blue and the stripe is tan about 2 mm wide and runs from the hood to the truck. Its not painted on, it seems to be a factory decal.

I think it looks stupid so I'm going to take it off. Any ideas on the best way to remove this eye sore?

Get it started with a razor blade and see if you can just rip it off. If its on there real good get a hair dryer and use the razor blade some more.. just dont scratch your paint. id like to see a picture of this! post a pic of this if you can before you take it off.

if its a decal pinstripe...i would wet it first and clean the surface around it, and then use a hairdrier to heat up the decal
it should come off a little bit easier than just going at it

there might be a line afterwards, best to do is wax and buff the hell out of it

pinstripe?? heat it with a hair dryer to soften it then it will just peel off without damage to the paint work, using a blade hell no

ya thats definately a pinstripe, lol.... and i have taken pin striping off of two cars and its very easy, and takes about 10 minutes a side...

it should just peel off, just get it started with something safely, and dont create too much slack in the pinstriping when peeling it off or else it will rip and youll have to do some peeling again....

hurry up and get it off...your car will look 100x cleaner
