leak detection pump

i got a code for leak detection pump faulty. what is that and is it something that i need to do immediatley?

Its an emmision item only. It pressureizes the gas tank to check for leaks. Check for vacuum leaks going to the pump. Theres a vacuum line going from the engine to the rear of the vehicle.
