Default leaking coolant

I have a 1997 A4 Quattro 2.8. In the past week I have had a small pool of coolant every morning. I cannot locate where the leak is but the coolant is running down the front side of the oil pan. I looked at all the hoses in the area and none of them are wet. The coolant is pretty orange which tells me it is not mixing in with any oil. Plus it takes several hours after driving the car for coolant to start dripping.

Any thoughts of what it could be? Is my water pump going bad.

When I drive the car it runs normal and no warning lights turn on. I figure though that I will get the low coolant light any day now.

Default RE: leaking coolant

water pump would be a good guess.

Pull the belly pan off, drive it for a while, and then get under there and see where its coming from.
