Default Light and HID mode?

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking at converting my lights into HIDs. Anyone know of a good place to get a HID kit with a decent price? Also, do I have to get a different light assembly due to the HID or can they work in the stock light assembly? One more quesiton. Do you know of a good place to buy complete clear/stylish head lights and tail lights? I was looking on ebay and they have some good deasls with some of the head lights and tail lights. Any opion on buying from ebay?

Thanks guys

you need projector headlight housings which you can get from ecstuning like ironman said: http://ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/page...ory=Headlights
if your on a budget, hit up ebay and search for projector headlights. i got mine from ebay and i am very happy with them.

There are a bunch of us on here with the vvme.com hid kits. I LOVE mine. As for tail lights, check out superbrightleds.com, they have really good prices.

Do you guys know what the standard temp for most of the newer Audi/BMWs is? (4300 or 6000k?)

I would assume that stock BMW's and Audi's they are 6000k on account that they have a blue tint to them. As for a place to buy kits www.vvme.com. I just finished puting a vvme kit into my car 10 minutes ago there great.

Nope - the OEMs (all of them) use 4300k. The different tints that they have are a result of lens and projector shape, which refract the light.

You don't HAVE to have projectors, but if you want to duplicate the look that the HID-equipped Audis have, or if you want your car to look nicer, get them. I have HIDs in my stock reflector (pre-facelift) housings, and they both look at work very well. However, I do want to upgrade to projectors for the styling and for the increased beam projection that they give over reflector lights.
