I am trying to find non-amber turn signal lights for my 1996 A4, and Advance Auto Parts said that it needed 7528 bulbs. These appear similar to 1157, and I'm not sure what the difference is. Does anyone know?

Also, I was told the rear ones were 7506. Does this sound right? Any help would be appreciated.

 

don't get non amber turns if you live in the US. I got pulled over and almost got a fat ticket for mine so i put some ampbers in...... you can get stealth ones that are silver but blink orange though those are legal.

 

I plan on getting S-YO or Silver Star bulbs, but the problem is the size. Surely someone's changed these...

 

i need to get some of those legal bulbs soon.. the silverstar ones.. anyone have a good site to buy them from?

I personally like the Stealth bulbs over others; such is just personal opinion though. The bulbs for the front of your car would be 7528's and the bulbs for the rear are 7506's.

mmm yea don't get clear turn signals..if you crash your insurance company might not support you and you also won't pass inspection..just put a coat of high temp silver paint on the stock ones, therefore they will look silver but blink orange, or silverstars, they are light purplish and they blink orange.

 

yea a coat of silver will work well man, thats what I did and its been good so far
