Is there an easy way to take out my oldhead lights or do i have to remove the bumper to get to some of the bolts? (1997 A4)

Pretty sure you have to remove the bumper. There are two torx screws underneath the housings.

step one- take off the two torx screws on top
step two- remove corners from the inside by releasing the clip
step three- remove torx screw securing headlight from side (hidden by corner piece)
step four- disconnect wires.

I stand corrected...I'll have to do that when I install my ecodes (I took the bumper off for the installation on my other A4).

You might also be able to get at the third bolt from the top. Although I am not sure about the 2 piece though.
