If I knew why a car was salvaged, or at least had the expertise to figure out if it was worth it to repair it, I wouldn't really worry about it. I don't look at cars and think, "Wow, thats a nice car. I figure I'm gonna sell it after x-number of years." I look at cars as something to keep.

So if you got a good deal, than good for you. Your car is still nicer than mine

Where did you get the engine from?

 

there was nuthin, all i needed was a new bumper and a few lil things

 

The blue Skyline in that parking space isn't legal... Wow, I remember that car from LONNNNNG ago, kind of takes me back to the importing days. [:-]

 

so it was a right off because it needed a new bumper and a few other thinks something does not sound right

 

to qualify as salvaged, the damage has to be 70% of the current value of the vehicle.

 

the insurance company didnt like the fact that the radiaor broke and timing belt cover broke
the time belt cover did it for the insurance company, they were scared of the enigne blowing or something
