today i started my car a4 1.8t and it had a misfire i drove around and it kinda cleared up but my check engine light came on i turned the car of and restarted it and its smooth again any ideas of what this could be i still gotta check engine light it still has power but im stumped gonna take it in for scan i dont think its my coil packs my plugs looked fine but im sure it is ignition problem i dunno

 

its hard to tell without hooking up a scanner and getting actual data. Even codes dont tell you that much and can sometimes missleading. One trick that sometimes works to tell if its a fuel or ign. problem is with propane. spray some into the intake and if the engine speeds up then its lacking fuel and if it falls on its face right away then it would be ign cuz you just made it way to rich. I guess the first thing tho would be to get it scanned see what that give ya
