If performance is your thing, save your $$$$ and refrain from weedwacking your 2.0T.

 

weedwacking my 2.0? you think it's a waste of time? i hope not.. i mean i want to save up for an RS4 (who doesn't..) but in the meantime i figure i'd get this 2.0 to move as fast as possible. I encourage feedback.. if you think modding a 2.0 is a waste i'd like to hear it. maybe i'll stop before i take it too far.

 

I was refering to the sound of the exhaust coming from a 4cyl. LOL!

On a serious note,modding is not my thing for a 4cyl. Everyone has their own opinion on what you should do, but it's entirely up to you. We are all different and don't have the same financial status, some are better off than others. You stated, you wanted to save up for an RS4, well, no matter how much you dump into that 2.0T, it's always going to be a 2.0T. Get the RS4, or I am certain an S4 would suffice for you.

 

thanks man.. i got ya loud and clear. i guess it's just that i've got the A4 just the way i like it, inside and out.. and i've put a lot of hours into it. i feel like goin to make the upgrade to an S4 (more realistic than a RS4) would be going back to square 1. but i guess the thing is.. giong back to square 1 in an S4 isn't anything to comlain about, is it......

I think the crappy "leak" sound could have been the exhaust resonating off the curb behind the car, like a car with turned-down exhaust tips sounds like resonating off the pavement. It didn't sound good though.

 

it kinda sounds like a chopper in the video. i wanna get a clip of my exhaust i think most of you on here would like it cause i was watching some of those videos and my car sounds similiar to some of them even tho its a strait pipe.
