listen to my inspection story
Aright i just recently bought my a4 and heres a little story i just need to tell because its bothering me. So it started with me bringing my car over too the garage to get it inspected. First off these people had to keep my car over night for an inspection then when i went back the next day at 12 they were still not done. SLOW? anyways when i first bring it I talk to the guy. Now im only 16 so im thinking this guy thought im just a kid I dono anything about my car. Well they inspect it tell me i need pads rotors and outer tie rods. Now i did need pads and tie rods rotors not so much but the dealership is paying for the parts so i did all that myself today. I get done with the rear and now i decide to take a look at the lights cause they said the wiring was messed up and that didnt pass either. So I check the switch, that was fine. The fuses were fine. So i say to myself i guess im gonna have to bring it to someone. then then i take out the bulb tray and im lookn at it. Well before that i realize that the blinker is going wicked fast so first thing i do is look at the bulb tray and find the blinker bulb completey gone. Now i know 100% it was in there and workn fine before inspection. So i see it gone and now i know my lights arent workn right so im lookn at all the others. And i see that on the right side the parking lights are double filiment and the left was a single. So instantly i know they took out the parking light and put the single filiment in its place to short out the circuit. Now i got everything back to order. but i think they wanted me to get it fixed there any there were gonna charge me for a bunch of electrical. Not to mention they wanted $250 for just the tie rods but i did it all myself and im going to take it back for re-inspection tonight and hopefully can get a free inspection out of it.
thanks for reading if anyone does

You'll most likely need an alignment after doing your tie rods. Theyshould double-checkif the ball joints and bushings are sloppy at all, b/c that all should be tight before doing the alignment.Theseolder B5s have issueswith thecontrol armssometimes.
