Location of Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) ?

I was wondering if anyone knows where to find the vehicle speed sensor. Mine either needs replacing or came loose and I want to check before I go buy a new one. Can someone post a screenshot of Bently manual maybe?

VSS is on top of the tranny held in by a 10mm bolt. When I say "on top" its not as hard to get to as it sounds, from what ive heard.

Sorry to steal this thread, but

Is this the right VSS for 04 a4 Quattro 1.8t automatic transmission? Can’t seem to figure out where vss on located on mine…
does anyone know where VSS is on an 04 a4 Quattro 1.8t with automatic trans?
