i'm not bad mouthing speedtuning im bad mouthing thier custmer service...its pretty bad when you refuse to offer someone a free reflash
Oliver was straight-up with me, Aaron, and a bunch of other guys. I don't think we're hearing both sides of the story. I also don't think the ecu flash is to blame.It wouldn't be brain surgery for Oliver todouble-check that the programmingis on the ECU, but why wouldn't it be there? He probably doesn't want to spend hoursdiagnosing/fixing that engine for free b/c that guythinks the ECU is to blame. Software/ soldered chipis either there or it's not. To Oliver it's probablylike changing an air filter.

So as an example - if you replace your dirty stockair filter with a new K&N, expecting a 5 HP gain, and you have a bad MAF, your car will still run like **** - but it's not the fault of the new filter, it's still the MAF. So blame the air filter anyway.

Brian, no point in getting my car dyno-ed, unless it's free. I don't need to pay to know i got my hp/$ worth, and then some. Plus no point in dyno-ing until I do my BT/BT tune/FMIC/injectors/clutch.... probably this summer.

Hmm lets see what did I pay for 20+ lbs of boost. 150 for speed tuning + 80 forge 006. The grand total comes to 230. You paid 770 more dollars hmm thats 298% more than I spent. And You dont feel like a dumbass.

8lb of boost, -20 hg vac... come on...

i know there are plenty of happy speedtuning customers such as yourself, but you have to say with those readings and no CEL or flashing CEL (im assuming so because i don't believe hes mentioned it) it was the flash that didn't go correctly. speedtuning should atleast re-flash it on the simple fact that his car seems to, well... be stock
Well, I'd first like to hear the other half of the story, and I'd also like to know this dude's qualifications for being able to diag the prob as the ecu. Maybe the ecu had a problem with it (ecus do occassionally STB) and this whole thing is a coincidence.
~20 in Hg does indicate there's probably no vacuum leak, but itcan not indicate the turbo is up to par or not. Turbos do occassionally STB too.
STB = **** the bed

Here's another example from auditurbo381:
https://www.audiforums.com/m_755108/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm

Maybe the car won't start b/c of the speedtuning ecu....but he had no fuel getting to the cylinders.
I'd like to know what finallyhappened to that one? Fuel pump, fuse, relay, or speedtuning flash to blame?

im sticking up for a guy who is having a hard time and your trying to be personal, shame shame... i paid 620 total so that would be 390 more to begin with...

whats that, and i don't have to ship my ecu away and have it come back the same, really? I only have to pay $25 to reflash and not the full price again if something terribly goes wrong, I have people i can talk to face to face, wow.

listen bud, i would pay extra just to make sure my car is how its suppose to be. Mailing my ecu to a not to know company here in the states to have them flash my ecu cheaper but nothing happening is kind of a problem... if it happened to you, you would be the one sh*tting your pants.

you may be right, i am giving my point with the information that has been given in the thread, that is all. turbo is most likely still running though and the ecu being bad would most likely cause a lot of noticable problems.
