My truck sat for a year when I was deployed, I just put a full tank of good gas, and injector cleaner in it, and by the second fill up, it ran just fine.

Default Could it be the fuel injection

I had an experience where I disconnected the battery, and when I reconnected, the fuel injection system was all messed up electronically. I had to bring it into the dealer and have them fix it. It was very easy for them.
