Great service from ungucpho! its a stainless steel TIP made by jet jockey! they sold for over $500 when he first made a small batch, there arent many around...Ive been hunting one for awhile and finally got it! I heard some of the newer ones were painted black but i like the SS finish... Just can wait to stick my hands in that blender to install it![wrench]
I hear they help quite a bit and JJ dyno'ed them to a 7AWHP gain! (on a k04) which ill soon be throwing on....
i also hope it fixes my surging boost at WOT in 5th and 6th gear... it peaks to 23 then drops to 17/18 once or twice then holds at 20... i think the crappy stock TIP is collapsing when its pulling full boost at higher speed in those gears
On another note, southbend sent out my flywheel yesterday and stasis sent my center differential out monday so as long as my bolts come in @ audi and my redline MT-90 comes in.. ill be a go for more clutch fun this weekend![headbang]

$500 originally?!? man i gota copy that and sell them for half the price. there is like $50 worth of material (ss) on that thing plus the welds on the nipples are pretty poor. what size is the larger diameter part?

 

1". its for the dv recirc line. if you run a bov you wouldn't even need it

wait, do you mean the part that connects to the MAF? that's 2.75" IIRC

 

actually i mean the main body diameter, and also the section thats slightly reduced.

ok gotcha. what the other section diameter, just curious.

 

don't know off the top of my head, its the same size as the compressor inlet of a k03/k04. hopefully papachristou can measure it and chime in
