Look what came in today!
a silicone one would do the same thing, not to mention the apr one is $160. I think you over paid for something thats not really going to give you 7awhp, not even 7fwhp. Hope you really like the look of stainless

$500 originally?!? man i gota copy that and sell them for half the price. there is like $50 worth of material (ss) on that thing plus the welds on the nipples are pretty poor. what size is the larger diameter part?

I know, its not that big on audizine??? i took it with my camera fone...
$300 + ship... but that nets me more HP than a $1000 exhaust so its a good deal

and the famous cynic sissyTT... first off the APR one doesnt bolt up and requires modification to work on a 04 (otherwise i would have got it because its wire reinforced)
the forge also collapses under high boost, people have to put clamps around it.... yes i love the look of the stainless... also forge told me not to put it on a k04 as well... not to say it wont work but thats what they said
dyno results

5-10 awhp increase at different points in the rpm band...
now didnt you say zero awhp increase???

Is it your reading skills or memory that sucks? I never said it would make 0awhp, i said it wouldnt make 7awhp. The only way for real results would be done on the same day. The change in temp/humidity and the dyno itself can cause a variance. Most dynos done on the same time have a varience of 3-6whp between runs depending on cool down time. Take all claims like that lightly.
Good effort ontrying to bea hardass
next time reread and get your facts strait first.

actually he did the 2 dynos back to back
Even though my car was on this very same dyno 7 days ago, I decided to do some fresh baseline dynos just prior to install.
It turned out that it was a right decision. The car put down 2hp more than it did last week (we did 3 dyno pulls, all within +/- 0,5hp), even though I did nothing to the car since. Do not ask me why - maybe the car was still adapting to the TP or maybe the higher numbers were caused by greater humidity (it was raining today) - 'cos honestly, I do not know.
That 2hp difference could have obviously affected the finall outcome, so I’m glad I decided to do fresh baseline dynos.
Right after the install, and just about 2 hours after the baseline morning pulls, we did final pulls to see the effect.
To our surprise the car put down 5 more hp peak and close to 10hp more in the 5500-6500rpm range

bottom line. retarded thread
Cincy is the only one who even took into consideration the cars mods, that pipe will not give him close to what that dino says because he has a fraction of the mods, i woul be surprised if it gave more than 3-5whp.
