Default looking into buying an audi! help!

2006 Audi A4 from Rigs & Rides

it has 108k miles, I want to offer 11k, is that a fair price? I drove it, its cleans and runs perfect (it seems) I need a car for a daily driver and road trips, while being fun. What do you guys think?

I know it is across the country, but just saw a similar equipped car sale for 9500 here in knoxville, tn. I would think you could haggle a bit with them, but nice looking car.

Price might be a little higher due to the aftermarket rims fitted to the car. I am not a fan of them and would offer less because of them. Has the timing belt/water pump been replaced? If so then $10 to $10.5 might be a decent price as it will cost you $1k to $2k to do that work (which needs to done now if it hasn't been).

I checked in the St. Louis area and there is one listed at $9850, but is an ugly beige color. There is also a silver one listed at $12k (price reduced). Yours looks worlds better than the beige car.

Thanks for the replies, I think I'm going to pass on this one unless they lower the cost by quite a bit. I hear they get sketchy after 100k. And I don't know how the previous owners maintained it or what they've done.

Looks nice. I would look for awd Audi. I love my a6 quattro! I paid $5000 for it.It is 10 yrs old with 114300 on the clock. All the electronics work and rides and handles like its on a rail! Awd is the way to go Imo.Once you drive an awd you wont look back to fwd or rwd!

So I just found out that it has a lifetime warranty up to the price of the car on all lubricated engine parts.... so the deal is looking sweeter. All I have to do is do the scheduled maintenance, which is oil changes...

So I will probably be picking this up.

How are the transmissions on these things? That's my next worry...

Keep in mind timing belt is a maitanance item as well and if not already done needs to be done.

I do not have a manual, but I have heard nothing but good things about the manual trans. If this car was an auto it would have the CVT trans which I have heard very little good about. I have the triptronic as I have AWD.
