Default Looks like it's new turbo time......

Took the car to the stealership today to have them determine why my acceleration was so shitty and to get the oil changed. Long story short, I had a boost leak that they repaired and it runs WAYYY better now. Here is the down side, when doing the oil they noticed some leaks around the engine block and diagnosed them the valve cover gasket and the cam adjustment gasket. Worse yet, the tech said the turbo is spitting oil! They want $2230 to do all that, which I'm sure I can get done cheaper elsewhere.

So, my car is a 99.5 A4 1.8TQA with a GIAC chip on the engine and transmission, high flow cat and Borla exhaust -- should I just go ahead and put a K04 kit on it? What sort of additional expenses should I expect? Is it basically a simple plug-n-play or will I be expecting major complications?

Also, anybody familiar with a good shop in the Harrisburg, PA area? AWE does great work in Philly, but they aren't exactly cheap. Where is the best place to get a K04 kit?

I'll definately do that, but let's assume that the turbo is bad for the sake of discussion and for the sake of me starting to figure out which kidney I can let go!
