Looks like my car might have to go
Well,
I got my insurance bill in the mail yesterday and apparently because of an accident I had a few months ago my insurance has went from $2600 per year to $6000 per year. 2600 was bad enough to pay for a '98 but there is no way in hell I'm paying half the cost of my car per year to keep it on the road. I've got another month before the insurance is due, so hopefully I can work something out. If I can't there will be a ko4/injectors/fpr for sale as well as a ecs control arm kit and mayhaps my 18's. I know most of you are in the US so that will cut down the intrest on my stuff. But I'll keep you posted, cross your fingers for me!

if it helps thats in Canadian dollars...doesn't really make much of a difference right now. All I've had is the 1 wreck and a couple of speeding tickets 3 years ago or so.

i can buy something old for cheaper and then i can just put pl/pd on it. that would save me probably about 5,000 a year. i don't want to do it, but i think i'm going to have to do it until i turn 25 and my insurance drops.

where in canada are you missionctrl?
and to those of you who are inquiring as to why he doesn't get a quote from another company, it's different here in canada (most parts anyway) than it is down in the US. our automobile insurance is monopolized and run by one company that's government owned. you HAVE to buy your basic insurance through these ********, although you can purchase your other policies (collision, vandalism, etc) through a private company. sound retarded? it is.
