well the timming belt is only like 6k old.. and the problem im having is to intermitant i would think if it was a timing issue it would be presant all the time but i could be wrong.. some days the car will be smooth and run fine others it runs like but, but it always feels a little off after 4500 rpm's

going on the 4500 rpm it could be the injectors need cleaning, you could also reduce the fuel pressure a little on the FPR they can be a pig to set up without a rolling road test

well the fpr beeing off would account for the lack of power or smoothness in the upper rmp range but the missfires and the running like butt im not to sure becasue it ran fine for so long..

it could easily be a faulty FPR then ( you don't simply set it to 5 bar without testing it on a rolling road ) 5 bar isn't much when running a Ko4, the software has to be set right as a back fire of that magnitude could do much internal damage as you probably know well, do a compression test

well the guy at the shop tested it, he set it took it out set it again.. took it out and all the junk.. you think i could have done some internal damage? well im going to try putting in the 310 injectors and lowering the FPR hopefully tomarrow night.. it will be running rich but atleast i can see if it is an injector issue.. How would i check the FPR?

you need a fuel pressure gauge ( not cheap ) but worth every cent, a vacuum gauge is also a good idea but I think your going the right way about it anyway

yea i know i need one they are like 55 bucks at auto zone.. not really sure how im going to hook it up and I also dont know how to adjust the AFPR but im sure i will figure it out once i get it all apart.. i would be really mad if i did some internal damage.. I still beat on the think when it runs half way decent.. i can tell when it runs like ****.. the one thing I did notice is when i put a fuel system cleener in the fuel tank for heck of it, the car ran smooth that entire tank of gas.. probibly nothing.. but i dont know..

most are adjusted by Allan key but this link might explain it better, also a pressure gauge there for testing the system
