in most cases its not parts but set ups so hopefully we can help as it goes on and im sure all would help in any way they could, god bless you for not wanting to get rid of such a nice car ( engines can be replaced but time cant ) and that's how I look at the Audi like a time vacuum

i have come to the conclusion its definatly a fuel issue. while in my friends subaru last night I experienced fuel cut, and it is almost identical to the problem i am having, so im no leaning more towards my FPR but im going to do the injectors tonight and lower my fuel presure

if you do not have fuel gauge, get one. it's like $20 at Jegs. Installation takes less than 5mins.

Why cant you just do a log of your fuel trim from a roll to wot from 2k rpm to redline? If its a fuel problem or cut out, you will see a drop in the #'s.
